You will find a contemporary dining experience at Brown Brothers Restaurant in the heart of the King Valley, northeast Victoria. Here, menus change with the seasons and visitors can enjoy their choice of light lunches, shared feasts or a 5-course Slow Lunch degustation.

Guaranteed to incite a hunger for colourful, innovative and flavour-driven fare, the restaurant showcases everything the surrounding region has to offer, inviting guests to share in the Brown family’s 134-year-old winemaking history alongside a ‘produce to plate’ ethos. Intentionally designed according to what’s in season and what produce is being picked from the kitchen garden that day, the food here is memorable, so much so that the restaurant has been awarded an Age Good Food Guide’s hat for its efforts.

Join the chefs for their signature Wine & Food Adventure where you’ll learn about and forage for produce in their kitchen garden before taking a tour of the winery and tasting in Cellar Door. Your journey will conclude with a specially designed lunch in the restaurant, using produce you helped pick that morning, all paired perfectly with a selection of Brown Brothers wine.

If relaxing on a beanbag with wine in hand is more your style, a simplified version of the restaurant’s offering is available through their snack and bar menu. Designed for more casual grazing, this selection of light bites includes house-made charcuterie and cheese, along with more daring delights like Fried Barramundi Wing with house-cured wagyu bresaola and house-baked focaccia, alongside garden “waste” oil.

Whichever experience you choose, be sure not to leave without first walking across the courtyard to the Cellar Door, where you will find over 30 different wines to discover.
