Nestled in the heart of Carlton, this culinary gem has consistently stood out for its innovative fusion of Japanese and Australian flavours, its exceptional wine selection and its elegant interior.

At the heart of Kazuki’s Restaurant lies a harmonious blend of Japanese and Australian culinary traditions. With Chef Kazuki leading the kitchen, the restaurant showcases a mastery of Japanese and French cooking techniques, resulting in dishes that tantalise the taste buds with a unique fusion of flavours. Kazuki’s passion for working with local producers, farmers, and suppliers underscores the commitment to sourcing the finest and freshest ingredients.

Beyond its delectable cuisine, Kazuki’s Restaurant is renowned for its extensive drinks list that boasts a staggering 500 wines. The focus on Victorian and French wines, along with a curated selection of Japanese sake, whiskies, and beers, creates a diverse and captivating array of options for oenophiles and beverage enthusiasts alike.

Kazuki’s Restaurant made its debut in the restaurant scene when it secured its first hat, a recognition of its commitment to culinary excellence. Remarkably, this hat remained firmly on their heads, until 2023, when it was awarded not one, but two prestigious hats.

Kazuki’s culinary prowess is also recognised by the Gourmet Traveller’s Restaurant Guide, with its inclusion in the GT’s Top 82 Restaurants in Australia and Top 20 Restaurants in Victoria for the 2023. The restaurant’s dedication to excellence in beverage offerings was recognised in 2022 when it was awarded Three Glasses for Australia’s Wine List of the Year.

Kazuki’s Restaurant’s allure extends beyond its culinary creations and into its meticulously designed interior, which was conceptualised by DesignOffice. It seamlessly integrates Japanese artisan furniture makers like CondeHouse and Ariake Furniture, lending an authentic touch to the ambiance. The branding design by Studio Round further adds to the restaurant’s aesthetic allure.
