Polperro Winery’s chef-hatted restaurant, Polperro Vineyard Dining, is nestled amongst the vines in the heart of the renowned wine region, the Mornington Peninsula. Shaded by ancient Angophora Myrtaceae on its stunning ten-hectare property in Red Hill, the space was designed in partnership with Hecker Guthrie to complement and encompass the passion and the level of craft required to cultivate and produce the wine.

With a wine lovers’ wine list, Polperro Vineyard Dining showcases the land, vineyard and organic produce farm with their ever-changing menu highlighting the seasonal harvests. Presented as a journey, you will experience Polperro at its finest.

Their approach offers a visual, textural and seasonal experience – a true collaboration between winemakers, farmers and chefs. It is no wonder the restaurant achieved one hat from the Age Good Food Guide in 2023.

Executive Chef, Gayan Pieris, said, “We started with an idea. We wanted to celebrate the land and the nourishment it provides with our passion for sustainability, local produce and high quality at the heart of it all. We built a team of hardworking, passionate individuals who share our deep connection with this land and its rich community surrounds. So this is us; no matter what we’re creating, be it Polperro Winery, Many Little Dining & Bar, a Villa stay or a Yoga studio, you’ll find common a thread of authenticity and a sense of place.”

The restaurant’s Sommelier, Blaz Rezen, having grown up on his family vineyard in Slovenia, brings a unique and knowledgeable approach to their wine list and wine pairing that further enhances the dining experience. The Polperro ethos promotes a relationship between the landscape, the people and the produce.
